82 projects, ten sectors, every figure attributed
Third-party cases come from the suppliers' own published case studies and are named as such — including where the supplier is a competitor. Our own projects carry acceptance reports or scheme numbers you can ask to see. Nothing on this page is a composite or an average of unnamed sites.

| Membrane fouling | 6 | Cleaning frequency, flux decline | Cleaning interval held at 20–25 days | Own test + acceptance reports |
| DAF retrofit | 7 | Underperforming existing basins | Bubble size down two orders of magnitude | Own projects |
| Food washing & sanitation | 6 | Pathogen control, water use | Up to 50% less wash water (supplier figure) | Supplier case studies |
"Supplier case study" means the figures are the other manufacturer's published claims, not our measurement. We label them because they are still the most useful third-party evidence available in this category — and because a reader deserves to know who is speaking.
Ten reference cases
Hot-water descaling at a community college
A passive nanobubble device replaced scale-inhibitor dosing on the campus hot-water system. The maintenance supervisor reports no annual acid cleaning and no inhibitor deliveries since installation — described in his own words on camera rather than as a percentage.

Land-based salmon: oxygen transfer measured
The facility measured 86% oxygen transfer efficiency with nanobubble equipment against 41% for the conventional system it replaced. For the same dissolved oxygen, that is roughly half the energy.

A cheese plant that did not build
Flotation ahead of anaerobic treatment allowed a planned 20 million lb increase in cheese and whey output over three years while avoiding a $10 million capital expansion. Biogas yield rose 98%.

2×75 m³/h, flotation plus SiC membrane
High-turbidity coal mine water: nanobubble flotation removes the bulk of the fines, 20 nm SiC membrane makes the final cut. Accepted at 0.18–0.20 NTU against a 0.5 NTU reuse limit, TSS removal 94%, specific energy 0.18 kWh/m³.

Nanobubbles in an existing aeration basin
Units added to an operating basin lifted dissolved oxygen, cut aeration energy and narrowed the ammonia excursion band. The supplier publishes up to 20% more capacity and up to 40% lower energy and chemical demand across its municipal deployments.

Sediment oxygen and algal control
Sediment dissolved oxygen rose from 0.5 to 4.4 mg/L. The lake recorded its first cyanobacteria-free summer in more than a decade, and the city later attributed about $900 million of local investment to the recovery.

1160 m³/h flat-sheet SiC
Nanobubble pre-treatment plus 20 nm SiC flat-sheet membranes on a seawater desalination train. Chemical cleaning cycle held at 20–25 days with effluent at 0.2 NTU, where the previous polymeric train had been cleaned weekly.

Foam control in food processing
Food-processing effluent with high surfactant load produces persistent foam that forces plants to derate. After installation the foam collapsed, and aeration and skimming loads fell with it. The case is documented with video on site.

Strawberry yield and root-zone pathogens
A comparative greenhouse trial with oxygenated irrigation water: yield up 14% and root-zone pathogens down 74%. The grower-published figures include the control, which is why we cite this one rather than a generic yield claim.

50 m³/h, high oil and suspended solids
Difficult oily wastewater — high oil, high suspended solids, poor filterability — treated by flotation in a single pass. Commissioning commenced under scheme ARFU-2025-099.

How to read a case study from any supplier
- Check whether there is a control. A before-and-after on one stream cannot separate the equipment's effect from a change in load, season or operator.
- Check the units. "50% savings" against what baseline, measured over what period, at what tariff.
- Check the water. A mine-water result does not transfer to emulsified oil, and vice versa.
- Ask for the acceptance report, not the brochure. If it does not exist, the case is a story.
Ask for a specific case file
Name the sector and we will send the acceptance report or the customer's own published data — including where the result was modest.
