One technology, four stages, and an engineer's name on the drawings
ARIFU is a Hangzhou manufacturer of ultrafine bubble generators, precision flotation and silicon carbide membrane systems. The company was founded to sell a process rather than a box: generate the bubbles, float what they lift, separate the fines, filter to nanometre level.
The short version
Four process stages
Ultrafine bubble generators (8 series, 39 models), ARFU precision flotation, hypergravity swirl membrane skids and SiC ceramic membrane elements. All four in one company, which is why we can tell you when one stage will not be enough.
By duty point, not by catalogue
A quotation states the model, the specific energy at your duty, the assumption that would break it, and the acceptance test we will sign. If the payback does not close, we say so.
Claims without a method
No "300% improvement", no market forecasts from report mills, no nanobubbles passing through cell walls. The limits page lists what we will not claim and why.
The founder
Zheng Wenzheng · founder and technical lead
Process chemical equipment, Zhejiang University. Senior engineer with more than thirty years in chemical equipment, and former dean of the membrane application design institute at a silicon carbide membrane manufacturer — where he led the design, commissioning and acceptance of SiC membrane systems for mine water.
He holds the ultrafine bubble generator patent covering 1.4×10⁸ particles/mL with more than 80% below 400 nm, has published technical reports on SiC membranes in mine-water treatment, and led the Cui Jiagou 2×75 m³/h system from design through acceptance at 0.18 NTU.
What that means in practice
The person who answers a technical question is the person who signed the drawing. There is no separate sales-engineering layer to relay it, and no product manager to overrule the number.
It also means the company is small. Sixteen models are in development and not orderable; some references you might want do not exist yet. We would rather say that than pad a capability statement.
Project record
| Project | Scope | Result / status | Reference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cui Jiagou mine water, Shaanxi | 2×75 m³/h, nanobubble flotation + 20 nm SiC membrane | 0.18–0.20 NTU, 94% TSS, accepted 2025 | ARFU-2025-083 |
| Keshiketeng oily wastewater | 50 m³/h, high oil and suspended solids | Commissioning commenced 2025 | ARFU-2025-099 |
| Ningbo seawater RO pre-treatment | 1160 m³/h flat-sheet SiC with nanobubble pre-treatment | Cleaning cycle 20–25 days; 0.2 NTU; accepted 2025-11 | Test 2024-05 |
| Helian leachate transfer station | SiC column membrane system with 60-month maintenance | Public procurement, resident engineer model | ZJZZ-FZFCG-2024-0204 |
| 500 t/h nanobubble flotation | Large-scale flotation system | TSS removal 99.8% | Project file |
Procurement references can be checked against the published announcement numbers. We include them because a verifiable public tender is worth more than a logo wall.
Intellectual property
Silicon carbide membranes — 22 invention patents
Includes the pure silicon carbide membrane preparation patent (2013, 2016) that broke the international monopoly position in this material in China. The patent family covers substrate preparation, coating and module design.
Ultrafine bubble generator — granted patent
Covers the shear structure that produces 1.4×10⁸ particles/mL with more than 80% of the population below 400 nm, measured by NTA. Reports are available on request.
Timeline
- 2013 / 2016 — SiC membrane patents granted. Pure silicon carbide membrane preparation, at a time when the material was supplied almost entirely by two international firms.
- 2013–2024 — membrane application engineering. Mine water, oilfield produced water and seawater pre-treatment projects designed, commissioned and accepted.
- 2025 — first ARFU generation accepted. Cui Jiagou 2×75 m³/h at 0.18 NTU; Keshiketeng commissioning started.
- 2026 — ARIFU founded, white paper V4 published. Fourth-generation ARFU-800 flotation launched under scheme ARFU-2026-0611, and this bilingual site built to publish the data behind it.
Where we are honest about size
- We are a Chinese manufacturer, not a multinational. Our installed base outside China is small, and a buyer who needs a European reference plant should weigh that.
- Sixteen models are in development. They appear in the roadmap, not in the catalogue.
- Some published third-party results on this site belong to competitors. We attribute them by name because they are the best available evidence in the category.
Talk to the engineer, not a call centre
Technical questions get answered by the person who designed the unit. Send the water analysis and a target.
